Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 pre-made pie crusts

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned. Drain the fat.
  • Add carrots, potatoes, peas, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • Put flour over the filling and stir. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Put one pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Fill it with the beef mixture.
  • Put the second pie crust on top. Crimp the edges and cut slits for steam.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with diced beef for a chunkier filling.
  • Add a splash of cream or milk for a creamier filling.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
